He is survived by: his children, Kathy Eshelman (Jack), Donna Sutton (Darrell), Sheila Bowers (Jim Bob) and Larry Earl Gatton; his brother Gary Gatton (Judy); and his grandchildren, Brandon Partridge (Katie), Chris Partridge, Larry Earl Gatton II (Heidi), Monica Valentin (Robert), Blake Scott (Victoria), Ryan Tyler, Ash-Lee Gatton Ramirez, Robert "Bo" Bowers (Rosina), Airika Bowers (Stevie), Tanner Whitmire, Elizabeth Eshelman, Makayla "Nel" Scott and Tervin Burton. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, numerous relatives.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cleveland - Pace-Stancil Funeral Home (303 E Crockett St, Cleveland, TX 77327). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pace-Stancil Chapel (303 E Crockett St, Cleveland, TX 77327). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Pace-Stancil Memorial (12901 FM 2025, Cleveland, TX 77328).
