With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruthie Jean Johnson of Call, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ruthie Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Ruthie Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. V. French (Charles) and Luciel Perkins French; her sister Betty Wilkerson (Bobby); her son Homer French Sr.; and her grandchildren, Robyne French and Akira French.
She is survived by: her siblings, Londell French, Sonny French and Marie Rose; and her children, Jimmy French, Wanda Boyd and Marsha French. She is also survived by 9 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pine Street Church of Christ (722 Pine St, Texarkana, TX 75501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
