He was predeceased by: his parents, David Thomas Lewis and Maybell Kelsey Lewis; his son DeWayne Thorpe; his niece Stacey Mulsow; and his nephew Nathan Sodek.
He is survived by: his children, DeAnna Lewis (Dena), Shasta (Adam Renfrow) and Larry Ryan; the mother of his child Vanessa Hall; his siblings, Shirley Uptmore, Patsy Dorner, David (Evelyn Lewis), Sylvia (Freddie Mulsow) and Glenda (John McLerran); and also, JJ Larson, Aubrey, Neil and Lila.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home (111 2nd St, Rosebud, TX 76570). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Powers Chapel Cemetery.
