He is survived by: his children, Gary Talafuse (Carolyn) of Buckholts and Brenda Litton (Trace) of Wallisville, Texas.; his grandchildren, Rhonda Talafuse of Buckholts, Sherry Talafuse Wood (Jeremy) of Temple, Gary Talafuse II of Cameron, Robert Talafuse (Megan) of Rosebud-Lott, Brett Duncan (Kelsey) of Portsmouth, Virginia, Brock Duncan (Megan) of Houston and Bryce Duncan (Chelsey) of Humboldt, Iowa.; his great grandchildren, Megan, Chris, Caleb Lopez, Hailee, Ashlyn, Kambrie Talafuse, Tyler, Lindsay, Jana Lee Talafuse, Deacon, Everett Duncan, Cole, Emma Duncan, Maya and Layla Duncan; his great great grandchildren, Alexander Lopez and Alaia Pyatt; and his siblings, Evelyn Bravenec of Temple, Texas, Billy Vansa (Evelyn) of Temple, Texas and Margie Sommer of New Caney, Texas..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home (2800 N Travis Ave, Cameron, TX 76520). A rosary will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Monica's Catholic Church (306 S Nolan Ave, Cameron, TX 76520).
