With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edgardene Jenkins Sheffield in College Station, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank L. Sheffield; her daughter Dena Ann Sheffield Higham; her parents, Harry S. Jenkins and Ruby Clary Jenkins; and her sister Charlene Jenkins Nutt (Maj).
She is survived by: her children, Bryan Lee Sheffield (Janet) of Tyler, Texas and Charlee Sheffield Garbs (Rodger) of College Station, Texas; her grandchildren, William Day Sheffield of Austin, Texas, Kyle Bryant Garbs (Emily) of Dallas, Texas, Anna Grace Garbs Nichols (Duncan Nichols) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Reed Sullivan Garbs of College Station, Texas. and Ross Olsen Garbs of College Station, Texas.; and her pet Coco. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cross Cemetery.
