She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pierce and Rosemary Pierce. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Benton Simpson III of Houston, Texas; her daughters, Elizabeth Simpson Canfield (Kyle Canfield) and Lauren Simpson Amedee (Eric Amedee); and her siblings, Laura Pierce Griffith (Lance) of Lewisville, Texas, Mary K. Pierce Taylor (Phil) of Broomfield, Colorado and Mark Alan Pierce (Charm) of Tyler, Texas.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (6622 Haskell St, Houston, TX 77007). Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hunters Creek (8303 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77024). A rosary will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Houston Food Bank.
