He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Glarner Swanberg. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Buck Busse and Edna Swanberg; his children, Lance Swanberg (Barbara), Cindy Schwing (Larry) and Marshall Swanberg (Kathleene); his grandchildren, Brittany Cornelius (Brian), Jennifer Lemmon (Allan), Jordan Schwing (Lauren), Caroline Schwing, Jonathan Schwing (Chrissy), Joshua Schwing, Zachary Swanberg (Whitney) and Haley Swanberg; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Tucker Swanberg; his brother Vernon; his family Swedish; and also, Orion Swanberg (Lil), Gladys King (Bill), Carol Critchfield (Charles), Ellen Pohlmeyer (Melvin), Luella Busse, Vernon Swanberg and Norman Swanberg (Sheri). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, their children, and their grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duddlesten Funeral Home (604 W Hidalgo Ave, Raymondville, TX 78580). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (8233 Park Ave, Lyford, TX 78569).
