As LaNell Hamilton departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved LaNell Hamilton. Though LaNell Hamilton may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Hamilton and Essie Mae Hamilton; and her husband Conard. She is survived by: her children, DeAnna Atkinson (Jimmy), Wes Yeats (Jill) and Patricia Marshall (Mark); and her brother Dan Hamilton (Sonja). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home (1826 US-287 BUS, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sardis Cemetery (6101 Honeysuckle Rd, Midlothian, TX 76065).
