With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fran Jones (Athens, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2025 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fran Jones to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Hoffmeyer and Anna Hoffmeyer of Fulton, MO.; and her husband Dr. Dwight A. Jones. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheri (Willy Robson) and Vicki Novak of Arlington; her grandsons, Si Robson (Audra), Cody Robson (Kenzie Allen), Justin Novak (Rebecca) and Jason Novak (Kaylin); her great grandchildren, Hazel Althea Robson and Danielle Anne Novak; her daughter Sally Cook Greer; and her caregivers, Tammy Hasselbush and Christy Matthews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (306 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751).
