She was predeceased by: her father John Paul Merritt; her brother John Merritt; and her grandparents, JT Merrit, Joyce Merritt, Lee Smith and Martha Smith.
She is survived by: her mother Linda Merritt; her husband Shelby Gunter; her sons, Jordan and Dalton; and her siblings, Brian Merritt and Breenda Hughes (Tim). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
