With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Loran Martin of Goliad, Texas, who passed away on May 12, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Martin; her son Ronald Martin; her parents, Edward Stehling and Lena Stehling; and her siblings, Walter Stehling, Edward Stehling, William Stehling, Jacob Stehling, Alleen Martin, Netty Boeck, Lena Rose Jaeger and Victoria Phillips.
She is survived by: her son Larry Martin (Mary); her grandchildren, Shannon Martin (Michelle) and Jennifer Mayfield (Clayton); her great grandchildren, Weston Martin (Brandy), Lauren McDowell (Thomas), Samantha Sullivan (Kevin), Tyler Maroney and Conner Maroney; and her great great grandchildren, Konzen McDowell, Elwood McDowell, Hutton McDowell, Lila Martin and Molly Sullivan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (11547 FM622, Goliad, TX 77963). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
