She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Read and Annie Maude Read; her husband Truman R. McMillan of Kirk; and her siblings, Annie Lee Thompson, Blanche Lenoir, Carlton Read, Maynard Read, Jeri Flatequal, Winston Read and Glen Read.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie McMillan of Marlin and Peggy Craft (Brent) of Texarkana. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in Marlin where she was a very engaged member or to the Historical Allen House also in Marlin.
