She was predeceased by: her parents, Cassie L. Edwards (Clayton) and Billy W. Sr. Edwards; her grandparents, Elgie Sr., Cassie Mae Clayton (Lewis), Willie B. and Ora Lee Edwards; her brother Daniel Clayton; her nephew Quinton Edwards; her niece Amaya Edwards; and her aunts and uncles, Cynthia Perry, Maggie Finnie, Willie B. Edwards, Jr. and Willie James Brooks.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dr. Marian Ellis (James) of Paris, TX, Billy W. Edwards, Jr. of Grand Prairie, TX, John Edwards of Shreveport, LA, Byron Edwards of Sulphur Springs, TX and Michael Edwards of Dallas, TX; and her aunts and uncles, Donna Washington, Teresa Nelson (Alton), Jimmy Edwards, Vernon Clayton, Elgie Clayton, Jr. (Bonnie), Jerry Clayton and Paul Clayton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the West Oaks Funeral Home (500 Hillcrest Dr N, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke Baptist Church. A burial will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at the St. Luke Cemetery.
