He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho Nelson, Sr. and Lucille Chandler Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Nelson; and his children, Billy Nelson, Tommy Nelson and Angela Rodgers. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Primrose Retirement Community Chapel (2780 Three Lakes Pkwy, Tyler, TX 75703).
