He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dillard and Virgie Dillard (Fife); and his wife Burniece Freeman Dillard. He is survived by: his children, Jack Bennett Dillard, Jr. (Dottie), Jerry Brent Dillard (Dawn), James Barry Dillard (Nancy) and Janet Burniece Greer (Gregg); his grandchildren, Jamie Parks (Justin), Julie Watkins (Jeff), Deke Dillard (Andrea), Fancy Pettit (Steven), Ryker Dillard, Jena Dillard Whitsett, Jake Greer (Jesse) and Jade Greer; his great grandchildren, Case Parks, Jack Parks, Madison Watkins, Taylor Sosa, Sloan Dillard, Judah Dillard, Murphy Dillard, Dakota Dillard, Asher Pettit, Teegan Pettit and Darci Jo Whitsett; and his cousin Willis Choate. He is also survived by other family members and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home (100 E Travis St, Marshall, TX 75670). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Yates Cemetery.
