He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wesley Sparkman and Linnie D Love Sparkman; and his siblings, Doris Marsalis, Lois Childs, Archie and Willie.
He is survived by: his wife Genita Sparkman; his children, Teresa Sparkman (Steve Homburger), Susan Sparkman and Allan Sparkman (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Jason Young (Natalie), Kathreen Young (Andrew Gillett), Christine Sparkman Reber (Sam Reber), Nathan Sparkman and Emily Sparkman; and his great grandchildren, Braxton Reber and Briar Reber.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stewart Family Funeral Home (7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Whitehouse (801 E Main St, Whitehouse, TX 75791).
