He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Irabell Pruitt; his siblings, Edgar Bay, Mormon, Roland, Charlie, Orbin, Clint, Tommy, Archie Ball Pruitt, Evelyn, Juanita, Stella and Frances; and his great grandchild Luka Lawler.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lynn Wade Pruitt of Blum; his children, Janie Baze (Jeff) of Granbury and Harvie Pruitt Jr. of Joshua; and his sister Mary Alice Crelia of Joshua.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (201 N Bosque St, Whitney, TX 76692). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Church of Christ - Whitney (109 E Jefferson Ave, Whitney, TX 76692). A burial will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blum Cemetery.
