He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Thomas Young (Pat) and Estelle Adeline Henze Spartz; his wife Helen Kizer Young; his sons, Stephen and Greg; his brother W. A.; his son Ernest (Dell); and his sister Lella Jean Loute.
He is survived by: his son Sam (Suzanna) of Chandler; his grandchildren, Samandra (Shaun Nail) of Magnolia and Sky Young (Shea) of Waco; and his great grandchildren, Micah, Mason and Claire.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home (205 Broad St, Chandler, TX 75758). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at the Chandler Memorial Cemetery (620 Old Tyler Rd, Chandler, TX 75758).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Baptist Church Brownsboro.
