With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Lynn Stricklin of Apple Springs, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Louie Turner and Corene Kendrick Turner; her husband James "Buddy" Ray Stricklin; and her sister Annette Turner Fleetwood. She is survived by: her sons, David Stricklin (Jennifer) of Palestine, TX and Jason Stricklin (Melissa) of Tennessee Colony, TX; her grandchildren, Tyler Stricklin (Tabitha), Tara Stricklin (Justin), Alex Havard, Jaxson Stricklin and Skylar Stricklin; her great grandchild Forrest Stricklin; and her siblings, Rebecca Bennett, JoNell Griffin, Sharon Turner Diaz, Sandra Turner Clooney, Larry Turner, Keith Turner and Karen Turner Hunt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Groveton Funeral Home (1019 W 1st St, Groveton, TX 75845). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at the Bennett Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mary Lynn's memory to a charity of your choice or to Apple Springs Baptist Church.
