He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis O. Barton and Lois Bryant Barton; his former wife Hazel; his wife Carol (Bitsy); and his sisters, Virginia and Irene.
He is survived by: his children, Andy (Jayne) and Holly of Buda, Texas; his grandchildren, Lindsey of Buda, Texas, Raven of Buda, Landon of Paragould, Arkansas and Tyler of Paragould; and his great grandchildren, Oliva, Paxton and Bently. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Salado United Methodist Church (600 Royal St, Salado, TX 76571).
