She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton W. Schrank and Mary Schrank (Mollenkopf); her husband Henry George Barta; and her siblings, Wilburn Schrank, Mary Ann Barta (Schrank) and Judy Jarzombek (Schrank).
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Pendergrass (Scottie), Karen Porter and Michael Barta (Nancy); her grandchildren, Adam (Shara), Eric, Tyler (Harmony), Kelli (Andrew), Shay and Alan; her great grandchildren, Emily, Liliana, Easton, Amber, Zella and Brooks; and her sisters, Nancy Russell (Schrank) and Shirley Bohanan (Schrank).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Harrel Funeral Home of Austin (4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704).
