In the sacred silence of farewell, Jerry Wayne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jerry Wayne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Jane of Texarkana; his son Jerry Jr.; and his grandchildren, Katherine and Sam Mitchell of Dallas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Walnut Church of Christ (2720 Moores Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Jane is asking that people make donations to Walnut in care of the mission work that their son has been doing with West Africa Living Kingdom.
