We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2025, at the age of 87, Shelba Kirby Whiseant of Texarkana, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Almus Kirby and Kassie Kirby; and her siblings, Thelma Kirby Tacker, Virgil Kirby, Austin Kirby and Curtis Kirby.
She is survived by: her children, Taylor Howell Whiseant and Tina Wilson Baker; her brother A. J. Kirby; her grandchildren, T. Joshua Baker (Diana), Tamara Baker Berg (Weston), Damon Whiseant and Travis Whiseant; and her great grandchildren, Blakey Alysse Baker, Lauren Grace Berg and Joseph Alan Berg.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hanner Funeral Service (103 W Main St, Atlanta, TX 75551). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (4090 Miller County 28, Texarkana, AR 71854).
