It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Claud Sweet (Azle, Texas), who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Alvin Claud Sweet and Edna Mae Strange-Sweet; and his wife Anita Sue Roberts-Sweet. He is survived by: his children, Tina (Wes Robinson) and Charles Wayne (Lisa Sweet); his sister Francine (Jerry Onesky); his grandchildren, Ashley, Jonathan Head, Kale, Cassi Sweet, Stacey Sullivan, Tyler Stewart and Noah Stewart; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Head, Leighton Head and Aiden Blodgett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel (850 N Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park (850 N Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020).
