We bid farewell to Ruby Kee of Troup, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 12, 2025 at the age of 100. Ruby touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Wiley and Maud Baty Hamilton; and her husband Ira Neely Kee. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Kee Obar-Price (Nathan) of Troup and June Kee Coleman (Carl) of Troup; her siblings, Lillie Mahaffey of Henderson, Betty Martin of Troup and Junior Hamilton (Ann) of Troup; her grandchildren, Nicole Williams (Michael), Amanda Hughes (Josh) and Leslie Coleman Eden (Michael); her great grandchildren, Jacob Hughes, Caitlin Hughes, Tyler Yordy, David Eden, Samantha Eden, Joshua Williams and Morgan Elizabeth Avalos; and her great great grandchildren, Kara Joy Williams and Gabriel Avalos. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cottle Funeral Home (105 E Bradford St, Troup, TX 75789). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Martin's Chapel Nazarene Church (925 Co Rd 4610, Troup, TX 75789). A burial will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at the Concord Cemetery (174 Co Rd 4705, Troup, TX 75789).
