As Sarah Cox departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sarah Cox may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sarah Cox leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mac Cox and Helen Merrit Cox. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Williamson; her daughters, Angela (Jerry Rye) of Conway, AR and Christina (Doug Dietz) of Texarkana, TX; her grandchildren, Alyssa (Ethan Kailey) of Conway, AR and Jacob Rye of Conway, AR; her brother Mack (Linda Cox); and her sister-in-law Marsha (Mike Moffett). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church- Moores Lane (3015 Moores Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Texarkana Children's Ministry or to one of the causes Sarah held dear: Lottie Moon Missions, Water Springs Ranch, Running WJ Ranch, or Domestic Violence Prevention.
