She was predeceased by: her father Owen Prothro; her husband Keith Whatley; her daughter Heather Whatley; and her brother Brian Prothro. She is survived by: her mother Sharon Prothro of Haysville, Kansas; her children, Timmy Whatley (Julie) of Huffines, Mickey Whatley (Felicia) of Kildare and Hiliary Neville (Justin) of Texarkana, Texas; her brothers, Terry Prothro (Elizabeth) of Waskom and Larry Prothro (Cheryl) of Hayesville, Kansas; her siblings-in-law, Rhonda Surratt of Kildare, Texas and Bruce Whatley of Hallsville, Texas; and her grandchildren, Gage Whatley, Cason Whatley, Easton Whatley, Kayeleigh Whatley, Joleigh Neville, Karlee Whatley, Madison Prince, Jett Whatley, Emmey Whatley and Jack Neville.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hanner Funeral Service (103 W Main St, Atlanta, TX 75551). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cross Creek Cowboy Church (5575 TX-77, Atlanta, TX 75551).
