She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Maza and Adelaida; her husband Gilbert Salinas; and her siblings, Angela Maza, Sophie Maza, Helen Maza, Teodoro Maza and Refugio Maza.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Slegel (Duane) and Lonnie Salinas (Karen Sheppard); her grandchildren, Danielle Theresa Slegel, Brandon Paul Salinas (Lucy) and Wesley Ryan Salinas (Carrie); and her great grandchildren, Oscar, Hailey, Natalie, Sophie, Rylee, Abigail, Tyler, Bruce and Leon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (26170 TX-345, San Benito, TX 78586).
