She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurelio Medellin and Manuela Medellin; her husband Gilberto Q. Rodriguez (Beto); her daughter Rosalinda Rodriguez; and her siblings, Maria Dolores Rodriguez, Ana Maria Ramirez, Aurelio Medellin Jr., Gabriel Medellin and Delia Salome Medellin.
She is survived by: her children, Beatriz Rodriguez, Gilberto Rodriguez Jr. (Lupita Rodriguez), Javier Rodriguez (Amparo Rodriguez) and David Rodriguez; and her siblings, Virginia Barrera and Roman Medellin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2405 E Tyler St, Brownsville, TX 78520). A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Los Laureles Community Cemetery.
