He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Earl "Dick" Self and Flora Aveline Seals Self; his children, Michael Self and Connie Williams; and his sister Sue Fuller.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Self; his children, Julie Ricks (Dwayne), Rick Strange (Carole), James Strange (Cindy) and Randy Strange (Karen); his grandchildren, Ashely, Amanda, Brady, Susan, Katie, Amy, Jared and Tyler; and his brother Bobby Self (Jane). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bright-Holland Funeral Home (2601 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX 75460).
