He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Tillman Chance and Alma Eugenia Owers Chance; his former wife Willie Mae Bigham Chance; his son-in-law Brett Buckner; and his siblings, Juanita Bailey, Anita Bailey, Don Chance and Dan Chance.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Deen Stinson Chance; his children, Frederick Dale Chance, Jr. (Robin), Eddie Ray Chance (Warren Nelson), Sharon Renee Ayoub (George), Diane Marie Davis (Reagan) and Paula Annette Buckner; and his grandchildren, Andy Chance, Will Chance, Kristina Ingerto, Shannon Gallegos, Jacob Ayoub, Rachel Friou, Tyler Stephens, Jessica Diffie, Katherine Royer and Karolyn Buckner. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Rhone Memorial Chapel (3900 S State Hwy 19, Palestine, TX 75801).
