She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Gene Hoffard, Sr. and Marion Jean Hoffard (Bleil); her daughter Amanda Simpson Reilly; and her brother Russell Gene Hoffard, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Rod Simpson of Mt Pleasant; her children, Roddy W. Simpson, Jr. (Nicki) of Highlands, TX, Emily Simpson of Portland, OR, Caitlin Rutledge (Nathan) of Longview and Molly Webb (Evan) of Mt. Pleasant; her son-in-law Billy Reilly of Little Elm; and her grandchildren, Brittany Reilly, Claire Rutledge, Christian Reilly, Brooke Rutledge, Bowen Webb, Aven Rae Webb, Eli Simpson and Josie Simpson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Andrew Global Methodist Church (2019 N Edwards Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery (3444 US-67, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
