He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Raney; his parents, Forrest Raney and Angie Raney (Links); his daughter Debbie Berman (Patrick); and his siblings, Dorothy, Shirley, Helen, Sam, Ed, Roy and Clay.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Diane Raney of Norman, OK, Jimmy F. Raney, II (Candi) of Saint Jo and Julie Marshall (Donald) of Pflugerville; his siblings, Billie, Evelyn, Sue and Cecil; and his sister-in-law Shirley. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Rosston Church (264 Co Rd 362, Rosston, TX 76263).
