With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia Ann Oliver of Grapeland, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hawkins and Selma Bourneman Hawkins; and her brother Clarence "Butch" Hawkins. She is survived by: her husband Paul Oliver of Grapeland; her children, James Oliver (Laura) of Sonora, Amy Oliver of Grapeland and Kali Glover (Zak) of Grapeland; her grandchildren, Justin Oliver (Mara) of Tyler and Hunter Oliver of Sonora; her great grandchildren, Chloie Ann Glover Bisch, Jackson Bisch, Carson Bisch, Lexi Glover and Angel Oliver; and her sister Kay West of Austin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the San Pedro Baptist Church (10733 Farm to Market 2022 N, Grapeland, TX 75844). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
