She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Taylor and Alma Jo Taylor (Crecelius); her husband Gerald Lynn Boen; her mother-in-law Dorothy Nell Boen; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Dan Boen and Roger Dell Schronk.
She is survived by: her children, Buffy Prestwood (Mike) of Blum and Brandon Boen (Sara) of Mansfield; her grandson Granger Boen of Chicago, IL; her sister Cinda Schronk of Hillsboro; her stepmother Ruth Taylor of Cleburne; her nieces, Jill Guthrie (Rodney) of Edmond, OK and Jacelyn Brown (Chris) of Waxahachie; her nephew Jack Schronk (Jessica) of Tomball; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Addyson, Graycen Guthrie, Taylor, Makayla Schronk, Jackson and Sawyer Brown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cross Cowboy Church (226 Stadium Dr, Hillsboro, TX 76645).
