She is survived by: her children, Bob Choiniere (Sharon), Barbara Crook (Stacey) and David Zikus; her grandchildren, Jonathan Crook (Brayden), Tiffany Keck (Kevin), Tyler Cool (Aaron), Logan Nevill (Will) and Tatum Crook; her great grandchildren, Brenleigh Keck, Kynlee Crook, Zailyn Keck, Kolson Keck, Miles Cool and Laney Cool; and her sisters, Carolyn Callen (Verlyn) and Polly Morgan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the First Baptist Church - Hearne (105 W Davis St, Hearne, TX 77859). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Suggs Cemetery Suggs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Darlene requested that donations be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Disabled American Veterans, or a charity of your choice.
