He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Olvera of Carlile; his children, Joel Punete (Maria), Leticia Puente (Armando), Maria Punete (Eduardo), Fidel R. Puente (Maribel) and Cinthia Puente (Juan DeLeon); and his siblings, Jose R. Puente, Maria of Carmen and Reyna Puente.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home (1414 S Main St, Henderson, TX 75654). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Jude's Catholic Church (1100 Longview Dr, Henderson, TX 75652).
