He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Curtis Ragon and Mildred Ragon; his daughter Melissa "Missy" Jo Ragon; and his sister Doris Smith. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Ragon; his sons, Mike Dewoody (Tracy) of Longview and Tim Brown (Luan Cahill) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Andrew Brown, Luke Brown, Gracie Brown, Abigail Dewoody, Ben Dewoody, Angie Shelby and David Shelby; and his great grandchild Ragon Shelby.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Willow Wild Cemetery (1220 W 7th St, Bonham, TX 75418).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church or charity of choice.
