He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Talafuse of Buckholts; his children, Rhonda Talafuse of Buckholts, Sherry Talafuse-Wood (Jeremy) of Temple and Robert Talafuse (Megan); and his grandchildren, Megan Lopez (Silvester Sanchez), Chris Lopez, Caleb Lopez (Esmeralda Munoz), Hailee Talafuse (Amari Pyatt), Ashlyn Talafuse, Kambrie Talafuse, Mason Morrow, Tyler, Lindsay, Jana Talafuse, Braden Evans and Jaiton Vrazel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home (2800 N Travis Ave, Cameron, TX 76520). A rosary was held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church (6633 FM 2269, Marak, TX 76518). A burial was held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cyril & Methodius Cemetery.
