She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Whitfield Rivers and Carl Rivers; and her siblings, Leonard Whitfield, Annie Whitfield, Richard Rivers and Carl "Mickey" Rivers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lindie Lafayette, Henry Whitfield (Donna), Diana Fisher (Mark) and Joe "Buddy" Rivers; and her children, Althea Rivers of Texarkana, Texas, Brandon Rivers of Columbus, Keena Rivers of Texarkana, Texas. and Dekeena Rivers, Sr. (Kristal) of Texarkana, Texas..
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Haynes Mortuary (2801 Arkansas Blvd, Texarkana, AR 71854).
