He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Strickland and Earl Strickland; and his siblings, Joyce Roberts, Kenneth and John Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Strickland of Texarkana, Texas; his daughters, Tina Cauley (Jesse) of Redwater and Anita Strickland of Texarkana, Texas; his grandchildren, Shauna Cauley of Redwater, Janes Cauley of Texarkana, Lilly and Lynndie Todd of Texarkana, Texas; and his great grandchild Maylyn Cauley of Redwater, Texas. He is also survived by two brothers; three sisters; and many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Redwater Cemetery (213 Cotton Ford Rd, Maud, TX 75567).
