He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Goehring Hoyt and Lowell Hoyt; and his brothers, Galen and Stephen. He is survived by: his wife Lauri Anne; his children, Chris Hoyt (Emily), Greg Hoyt (Jessica), Taylor Hoyt, Laura Lee Hoyt and Paul Hoyt (Laura); his grandchildren, Jubilee, Joshua, George, Brett and Allison; and his siblings, Bruce Hoyt of Christchurch, Stan Hoyt of Forsythe, Georgia, Loren Hoyt of Ackley, Nelda Banek of Tyler and Sherwood Hoyt of Pottstown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Church (2525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75701). A burial will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Good Shepherd School, in tribute to Mark's years of service there as a teacher and headmaster.
