She was predeceased by: her parents, John Work and Maxine Work (Kinney); her son Tim Whiteley; her husband Junior Whiteley; and her siblings, Lonnie, Johnny, Ricky, Mickey and Lucille.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Eshliman (Frank) of Cleveland, Scott Ellis (Jacque) of Lewisville, Marshall Whiteley (Misty) of Jacksonville and Teresa Whiteley of Cleveland; her sister Crissina "Sissy" Whiteley of Oklahoma; her close friend Marcella Yarbrough; and her niece Tonya Little of Gordonville. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Rather than customary condolences, the family requests donations be made to Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
