She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Farrar and Hazel Farrar; her husband Jim Fonteno Sr.; and her sister Ruth Breashears. She is survived by: her siblings, Peggy Ward, Jerry Farrar (Linda) of Tulsa and John Farrar of Bixby, OK.; her children, David Proctor (Cindy) of Houston, TX, Diana Saufley (Vic) of Houston, TX, Donna Kester (David) of Houston, TX, Sharon Hamlin of Houston, TX, Jann Morton of Houston, TX, Chase Fonteno of Houston, TX and James Fonteno (Claire) of Austin, TX.; her grandchildren, David Alan Kester of Houston, TX, Jared Saufley of Houston, TX, Ben Saufley of Houston, TX, Amy (Josh Mathias) of Houston, TX, Christopher Proctor (Tiffany Cabrera-Ybarra) of Houston, TX, Joshua Proctor (Christy) of Houston, TX, Michael (Jennifer Hamlin) of Houston, TX, Nathan (Amanda Hamlin) of Houston, TX, Holly Hamlin of Houston, TX, Charlotte, Caroline Fonteno of Austin, TX and Andrew (Sara Kester) of Leander, TX.; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Violet, Ethan, Novalyn Proctor, AJ, Maeve, Della Kester, Emma, Carson Mathias, Emelia, Abby, Marshall, Oliver, Charlie and Addison Hamlin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foundary Church (8350 Jones Rd, Houston, TX 77065). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rosewood Memorial Park - Humble (2602 S Houston Ave, Humble, TX 77396).
