She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Odel Nettles and Edith Raye Nettles (Thomason); her husband Stanley Boyd; her siblings, Perry Nettles, Billie Ticknor, Martha Martin and Patricia Lincecum; her brothers-in-law, Joe Lincecum, Tommy Ticknor and Guy "Red" Martin; and her nephews, Scott Nettles, Wally Sherrod, Layne Martin and Wayne Martin.
She is survived by: her son Kelley; her daughter-in-law Melinda Boyd of Groesbeck; her daughter Kim; her son-in-law David Allen of Mesquite; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Ziemer of Abilene, Tyler Allen of McKinney and Paige Green of Bogota; her great grandchildren, Caleb Ziemer, Madilyn Ziemer, Brooks Allen, Wesley Allen, Gigi Green, True Green, David Greenhaw and Violet Jones; and her sister Jean Nettles of Groesbeck.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Groesbeck Funeral Home, Inc. (1215 E Yeagua St, Groesbeck, TX 76642). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Old Union Cemetery Pavilion.
