Janet Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Dan Meredith; her parents, Thurman Hershel Stroman and Joyce Laverne Cook; and her brother Hershel Stroman. She is survived by: her children, Arthur Thomas Green II (Amber) of Jenkins, Lacy Howe of Texarkana, Courtny Lacy of New Boston, Darren Meredith of Alpena, Michigan and DJ Meredith of Jenkins; and her siblings, Wayne Stroman of Avinger, Linda Flori (Robert) of Ore City, Tonia Sauceda (Flo) of Avinger, Barbie Golden (Steve) of Avinger and Elaine Roe (Lewis) of Hughes Springs. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Union Missionary Baptist Church (159 FM997, Daingerfield, TX 75638). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
