He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Walkup and Nettie Wallace; his wife Joan Walkup; his siblings, Lloyd Walkup, Troy Walkup and Faye Mize; and his nephew Randy Mize.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Stolle and Donna Dockery; his stepsons, Terry Chapman and Gary Chapman; his grandchildren, Paul Stolle, John Stolle, Sarah Stolle, Jessica Dockery and Judd Dockery; and his stepgrandchildren, Christy Kinder, Christopher Chapman and Marshall Chapman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (307 Ave C NW, Childress, TX 79201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Childress Cemetery North Fm.
