He is survived by: his wife Marge; his daughters, Julie Lynn Marshall and Susan Dale Burks (Brad); his grandchildren, Andrew Garner Marshall, Mason Lynn Marshall, Karalyn Marshall Mathis (Nathan), Elizabeth Ruth Burks (Brendan Daly), Samuel John Burks and Benjamin Dale Burks; and his great grandchild Eleanor Kate Mathis.
A memorial service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Ware Chapel at Polk Street Methodist Church (2801 S Polk St, Amarillo, TX 79109).
The family requests memorials be made to the Aldersgate Scholarship Fund at Polk Street Methodist Church, Amarillo, Texas.
