It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lynn Folmar of Quanah, Texas, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvie Folmar and Rachel Folmar. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Milligan Lytle of Quanah; his son Kevin Folmar (DeEdra); his grandsons, Maverick Folmar (Zoe) of Aledo and Garrett Folmar of Wichita Falls; his daughter Kim Folmar Marshall (David); his grandchildren, Rachel and William of Keller, Texas; his stepdaughter Amy Lytle Mora (Angel); his stepgrandchildren, Michael, Gabriel (Aniston), Marisol of Ft. Worth and Alyse Lytle Rockwell (Eric); his sister Janice Folmar Smith (Guinn) of Abilene, Texas.; and also, Axlyn, Cooper, Casen and Lucy of Yukon, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel (210 W 3rd St, Quanah, TX 79252).
