He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Strey and Alvina Mattke Strey; his sibling Willie; his sister-in-law Lillian Luensmann Strey; and his great grandchild Ava Canham.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his daughters, Karen (Terry Canham), Loretta (John Corkran) and Marsha (Mike Schulze); his grandchildren, Cody (Krysta Canham), Tyler (Kelsey Canham), Trent (Collette Corkran), Avery Corkran (Sheyenne Strackbein), Colt (Shannon Canham), Mayson (Aerin Schulze), Garrett (Kaymey Corkran) and Mady Schulze (Kaleb Collins); and his great grandchildren, Carson Corkran, Jaxon Corkran, Otto Corkran, Ellie Canham, Ace Corkran, Ozzi Corkran, Parker Canham, Luke Canham, Baby Canham and Baby Schulze.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Redeemer Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Redeemer United Church.
